　　1.she's a natural crier.

　　natural 天生的;本能的;與生俱來的

　　如：Remember that these weaknesses are natural.

　　記住這些弱點是天生的。

　　2. He's really a law-down dirty shame.

　　他真是個不知羞恥的家伙。

　　law-down dirty shame“不知羞恥的”

　　如： I wouldn't like to have anything to do with a law-down dirty shame like her.

　　我可不想和她那樣不知羞恥的人有任何來往。

　　3.He's good-time charlie, feeling no worries and anxieties.

　　他可是個樂天派，整天無憂無慮的。

　　good-time charlie 漢語中“樂天派”可以用optimistic來表示，也可以用good-humored。但是上述表達法缺乏口語色彩，而用good-time Charlie比較合適。

　　4.She's said to be a jinx.

　　有人說她是掃帚星。

　　jinx 通常指不吉利的人或物。其實“掃帚星”指的是“彗星”。在英語中沒有對應(yīng)的比喻義的翻譯，不能譯為“comet”，應(yīng)該是jinx。

　　例如：I've heard of her. She's said to be a jinx, who would bring bad luck to whoever she marries.

　　on the ball 有能力的或有效率的：

　　party animal指的是特別喜歡參加聚會的人，也就是聚會狂，他們哪怕一次聚會也不會落下。要注意，這里animal說的可是人哦，并不是把人貶低成了動物。

　　如：I'd love to invite that party animal to the party. He'd liven up the mood!

　　我很喜歡邀請那個派對狂來參加我們的派對。他能使整個氣氛熱烈起來。

　　7.You're still wet behind the ears.

　　你還嫩點兒。

　　Wet behind the ears如果直譯: 耳朵背后是潮的。它可能來自這樣的說法: 小馬、小牛剛生下來的時候全身濕漉漉的;別的地方很快會干，但是耳朵背后卻還是濕的。所以說某人耳朵背后是潮的，是把這人比作剛生下不久的嬰兒了。換句話說就是他簡直像新生兒一般幼稚無知。

　　如：He's not the sort to enter into partnership.He prefers to play a lone hand.

　　10.Tom is the black sheep of his family.

　　Tom是個敗家子。

　　a black sheep“敗家子”此短語源于諺語 There is a black sheep in every flock.(每群羊里都有一只黑綿羊)

　　如：Dick is a black sheep, always bringing trouble to his family.

　　Dick是個敗家子，總給家里招惹麻煩。
