[口語(yǔ)]有“地域偏見”的placist

我們?cè)谟⑽闹幸娺^(guò)不少以ist結(jié)尾的單詞，比如racist（種族主義者）、materialist（唯物主義者）等。這些單詞指代的人群通常都對(duì)某一事物或理念，如race（種族）或material（物質(zhì)）懷有堅(jiān)定的或固執(zhí)的認(rèn)識(shí)和想法。今天，我們就為這個(gè)ist詞匯家族新添一位成員吧。

Placist is a person who discriminates against other people based on where the other people live, or who holds strong negative or positive feelings toward a certain place based on loose stereotypes.

Placist（地域主義者）指因他人的居住地而對(duì)其抱有歧視態(tài)度的人，或者指因?yàn)槟承┖翢o(wú)根據(jù)的固有印象而對(duì)某個(gè)地方抱有強(qiáng)烈的否定或肯定態(tài)度的人。

For example:

Ashlyn is such a placist. She thinks that everybody who lives in Florida is old, senile, plays golf all day and is a terrible driver.

阿什琳真是有地域偏見。她覺得佛羅里達(dá)州的每個(gè)人都老態(tài)龍鐘，整天打高爾夫，而且開車技術(shù)很差勁。
