圍觀那些奇葩的“辭職理由”

  Although common sense dictates a graceful exit when you're leaving a company, there are always going to be some who slip up. Staffing agency Office Team recently conducted a survey among more than 1,300 employers who divulged some of the strangest reasons former employees have given them when resigning from their jobs. Here are a couple of doozies:

  盡管辭職的時候有個正常的理由能體面離開,但總是有些人會拿出奇怪的理由辭職。最近,人事機構辦公室團隊在1300多位雇傭者中間做了一項調(diào)查,這些雇傭者透露了部分千奇百怪的離職理由。下面就為你列舉16條奇葩理由:

  • "A guy said he was making too much money and didn't feel he was worth it."

  •“某個家伙說,工資太高,他受之有愧。”

  • "The worker told us he just couldn't get up in the morning."

  •“有個雇員跟我們說,他就是早上起不來。”

  • "He quit because he didn't like the way the office smelled."•

  “他辭職的理由是,他不喜歡辦公室的味道。”

  • "An individual did not like the sound of file cabinets being slammed."•

  “某個人不喜歡檔案柜猛撞的聲音。”

  • "One person quit to watch a soccer tournament."

  •“有個人辭職是為了看足球聯(lián)賽。”

  • "We had someone leave because he had to stay home to feed his dog."

  •“有個人辭職是為了在家喂狗。”

  • "An employee left because he wanted to watch a movie with his girlfriend during work hours."

  • “有個雇員辭職的理由是他要在工作時間陪女友看電影。”

  • "A person quit because he hated the carpet."

  • “有個人討厭這里的地毯所以就走了。”

  • "He just walked out without a peep. We have no idea why he left, and we were not able to contact him."

  • “他一聲不響就走了,我們不知道他離開的原因,也沒辦法聯(lián)系到他。”

  • "One worker left to become an apple farmer."

  • “有個雇員走是為了做個種蘋果的農(nóng)民。”

  • "A staff member quit to climb Mount Everest."

  • “有個人辭職是為了爬珠穆朗瑪峰。”

  • "There was an individual who left to play the trombone."

  • “有人為了吹長號辭職了。”

  • "Someone left because her boss lost the dog she had given him."

  • “有個人辭職是因為她上司把她送的狗弄丟了。”

  • "Our employee said he was joining the circus."

  • “一個雇員說,他要加入馬戲團。”

  • "One person left because she lost her cell phone too many times at work."

  • “有個人因為工作時丟了很多次手機,于是就走了。”

  • "An employee said it was his routine to change jobs every six months."

  • “有個雇員跟我說,他每六個月要換份工作,這是慣例。”

  Although you may be tempted to leave a job in a manner of your choosing (especially if you harbor negative feelings), it's best to reconsider your approach。

  盡管你可能因為自己的選擇(尤其是當你懷有負面情緒時)很想辭職,但最好再三審視一下辭職的理由。

  "How you leave a job can be just as important as what you did while you were there," said Robert Hosking, executive director of Office Team. "Regardless of the reason for resigning, making a graceful exit by tying up loose ends and thanking colleagues shows your professionalism and can help you down the road in your career."

  “辭職的理由就跟你從事過的工作一樣重要,” 辦公室團隊的執(zhí)行董事羅伯特•霍斯金這樣說道。“不說辭職原因,就說做好善終工作體面離職和跟同事道謝,這兩件事都能體現(xiàn)出你的職業(yè)精神,并能幫你鋪平職業(yè)道路。”
