狐貍和山羊
一天，一只狐貍掉進(jìn)了井里，無(wú)論他怎么想辦法，他都出不來(lái)。正當(dāng)他努力想著接下來(lái)該怎么辦時(shí)，一只山羊走過(guò)來(lái)找水喝。
“狐貍老兄！”山羊叫他，“你覺(jué)得下面的水怎么樣??？”
“這里的水比任何其他地方的水都好喝?！焙傉f(shuō)，“你最好下來(lái)自己嘗嘗?！?
“我會(huì)的，”山羊說(shuō)著跳進(jìn)了井里。
當(dāng)山羊低下頭嘗水時(shí)，狐貍跳到他背上。再一跳，他跳出了水井。
“等一下！”當(dāng)山羊看到發(fā)生的事情后，他喊起來(lái)。

72 The Fox and the Goat
One day a fox fell into a well, and try as he would, he could
not get out. As he was trying to think what to do next, a goat
came by, looking for some water.
"Friend Fox!"called the goat. "How do you find the water down
there?"
"It is as good as any water could be,"said the fox. "You would
do well to come down and see for yourself.""That I will,"said
the goat, and he jumped down into the well.
As the goat put his head down to try the water, the fox jumped
up on his back. One more jump, and he was out of the well.
"Just a minute!"called the goat, when he saw what was
happening.
"How am I going to get out of here"?"You should have thought
of that before you jumped down,"said the fox. "Dext time look
before you leap!"And he went on his merry way.
