When my wife went in the hospital for surgery several years ago, a rule prohibited children under 12 from visiting patients . Our 11-year-old son seemed to understand, but our six-year-old daughter took the restriction very hard. We discovered why she was so unusually upset when we heard her talking to her mother on the phone for the first time. As she said good-bye, she tearfully exclaimed , "I'll see you when I'm 12,Mom!"

笑話文化解讀

美國一些醫(yī)院規(guī)定，探視應(yīng)在病區(qū)會客室內(nèi)進行，只有在患者要求下，醫(yī)師才會同意進病房探視。德國一些醫(yī)院也不讓探視者直接進入病房，而是在病房外的接待室，讓病人和探視的親友會面交談。接待室就像客廳，院方供應(yīng)飲水和咖啡，并擺放著雜志、報紙，給人以舒適、安全、溫馨的感覺。
