Getting Out of a Ticket

A man in his 40’s bought a new BMW and was out on the interstate for a nice evening drive．The top was down，the breeze was blowing through what was left of his hair and he decided to open her up．

As the needle jumped up to 80 mph，he suddenly saw flashing red and blue lights behind him．

“There’s no way they can catch a BMW，”he thought to himself and opened her up further．The needle hit 90，100... Then the reality of the situation hit him．“What the hell am I doing？”he thought and pulled over．

The cop came up to him，took his license without a word and examined it and the car．

“It’s been a long day．This is the end of my shift and it’s Friday the 13th．I don’t feel like more paperwork，so if you can give me an excuse for your driving that I haven’t heard before，you can go．”

The guy thought for a second and said，“Last week my wife ran off with a cop．I was afraid you were trying to give her back．”

“Have a nice weekend，”said the officer．

一個(gè)男子在他40歲的時(shí)候買了一輛嶄新的寶馬車，晚上開著它到州際公路上去兜風(fēng)，感覺(jué)真是太棒了。他把車頂棚放了下來(lái)，微風(fēng)吹拂在他那所剩無(wú)幾的頭發(fā)上。他決定要全速前進(jìn)。

當(dāng)儀表盤的指針指到每小時(shí)80英里的時(shí)候，他突然看見(jiàn)在自己的后方出現(xiàn)了紅色和藍(lán)色的閃光。

“他們絕對(duì)趕不上寶馬的，”他這么想，車子開得更快了。指針指到90，100…直到這時(shí)他才回過(guò)神來(lái)。“我都做了些什么??？”想到這兒，他停下了車。警察趕了上來(lái)，一聲不響地拿了他的駕駛執(zhí)照來(lái)檢查，并檢查他的車。

“我已經(jīng)工作一整天了。現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)下班，而且今天是13號(hào)，又是星期五，我不想再給你開罰單了。只要你能說(shuō)出一個(gè)我從沒(méi)聽(tīng)到過(guò)的理由，你就沒(méi)事了。”

這家伙思索片刻，說(shuō)道：“上個(gè)星期我老婆和一個(gè)警察跑了。我以為您正開著警車來(lái)把她還給我。”

“祝您周末愉快。”警官說(shuō)。
