英語(yǔ)幽默:法律上的親戚

A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position.
As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?"
"Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws."

一對(duì)夫婦在一條鄉(xiāng)間小路上開(kāi)車(chē)行駛了好幾里路，沒(méi)有說(shuō)一句話。他們剛剛進(jìn)行過(guò)一場(chǎng)爭(zhēng)論，沒(méi)有人想承認(rèn)對(duì)方對(duì)了。

當(dāng)他們經(jīng)過(guò)一個(gè)養(yǎng)著騾子、山羊與豬的農(nóng)場(chǎng)時(shí)，丈夫挖苦地說(shuō)：“這些是你的親戚嗎？”

“是的，”妻子回答，“法律上的。”

Tips:這里為什么說(shuō)是法律上的（in-laws)呢？因?yàn)樵谟⑽闹?，mother-in-law意指婆婆或岳母，father-in-law意指公公或岳父等……總之這里的in-laws指的是丈夫家的親戚。
