A lady was walking down the street to work and she saw a parrot on a perch in front of a pet store.
一個(gè)女人在去上班的路上看到在一個(gè)寵物店前有只鸚鵡站在樹(shù)枝上。
The parrot said to her, "Hey lady, you are really ugly." Well, the lady is furious!
鸚鵡向她說(shuō)：“嘿，女士，你真的很丑。”女人感到有點(diǎn)生氣。
She stormed past the store to her work.
她怒氣沖沖地接著去上班了。
On the way home she saw the same parrot and it said to her, "Hey lady, you are really ugly." She was incredibly ticked now.
在回家的路上她再一次看到了那只鸚鵡，而那只鸚鵡又說(shuō)道：“嘿，女士，你真的很丑。”她現(xiàn)在感到非常生氣了。
The next day the same parrot again said to her, "Hey lady, you are really ugly."
第二天這只鸚鵡又對(duì)她說(shuō)：“嘿，女士，你真的很丑。”
The lady was so ticked that she went into the store and said that she would sue the store and kill the bird. The store manager replied profusely and promised he would make sure the parrot didn't say it again.
女人暴怒地走進(jìn)了寵物店說(shuō)她要起訴這家寵物店，要求殺死這只鳥(niǎo)。店員一遍又一遍地道歉并保證他絕對(duì)不會(huì)讓鸚鵡再這么說(shuō)了。
When the lady walked past the store that day after work the parrot called to her, "Hey lady."
當(dāng)女人再次下班回家的時(shí)候鸚鵡又叫道：“嘿，女士。”
She paused and said, "Yes?"
她停下腳步問(wèn)：“然后呢？”
The bird said, "You know."
這只鸚鵡說(shuō)：“你知道的。”
