企業(yè)要依法及時(shí)披露環(huán)境信息

China has unveiled a regulation requiring enterprises to disclose their environmental information in a timely manner and in accordance with the law, according to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on Wednesday. The disclosure of environmental information is common practice globally in implementing corporate responsibility, said Yan Gang, deputy chief of the Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning under the ministry.

生態(tài)環(huán)境部環(huán)境規(guī)劃院副院長(zhǎng)嚴(yán)剛2月23日表示，《企業(yè)環(huán)境信息依法披露管理辦法》近期已正式實(shí)施，企業(yè)要依法及時(shí)披露環(huán)境信息。嚴(yán)剛表示，依法開(kāi)展環(huán)境信息披露是國(guó)際上落實(shí)企業(yè)環(huán)境責(zé)任的通行做法。

Enterprises with large-scale emissions of pollutants, high environmental risks, and those discharging toxic and harmful substances, among others, are identified as the subjects of environmental information disclosure, according to Yan. To ensure the public's right to know and forestall environmental and market risks, companies are required to disclose relevant environmental information in a timely manner when their actions may have a significant impact on society, the public and investors.
污染物排放量大、環(huán)境風(fēng)險(xiǎn)高、排放有毒有害物質(zhì)的企業(yè)被確定為環(huán)境信息披露主體，當(dāng)企業(yè)環(huán)境行為可能對(duì)社會(huì)、公眾及投資者產(chǎn)生重大影響時(shí)，要及時(shí)披露相關(guān)重要環(huán)境信息，進(jìn)一步保障公眾知情權(quán)，防范環(huán)境風(fēng)險(xiǎn)和市場(chǎng)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。
