中方?jīng)Q定召回駐立陶宛大使

China has decided to recall its ambassador to Lithuania and demanded the Lithuanian government recall its ambassador to China, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Tuesday. Recently, the Lithuanian government, in disregard of China's repeated representations and articulation of potential consequences, announced its decision to allow Taiwan authorities to open a "representative office" under the name of "Taiwan," the spokesman said.

外交部發(fā)言人8月10日表示，近一段時(shí)間，立陶宛政府不顧中方反復(fù)交涉、曉以利害，宣布允許臺(tái)灣當(dāng)局以"臺(tái)灣"名義設(shè)立"代表處"。

The Lithuanian government's decision brazenly violates the spirit of the communique on the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Lithuania, and severely undermines China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the spokesman noted.

此舉公然違背中立兩國(guó)建交公報(bào)精神，嚴(yán)重?fù)p害中國(guó)主權(quán)和領(lǐng)土完整。

"The Chinese government expresses its categorical opposition to this move. China has decided to recall its ambassador to Lithuania and demanded the Lithuanian government recall its ambassador to China," the spokesman said.

中國(guó)政府對(duì)此表示堅(jiān)決反對(duì)，決定召回中國(guó)駐立陶宛大使，并要求立政府召回駐中國(guó)大使。
