China said Thursday that Australia has been for some time abusing the so-called "national security" reasons to further restrict and suppress China-Australia cooperation, which has gravely damaged mutual trust between the two countries and undermined the foundation of normal exchanges and cooperation. China has to make a necessary and legitimate response, and Australia must take full responsibilities for this, according to foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin.
外交部發(fā)言人汪文斌5月6日說，一段時(shí)間以來，澳方濫用所謂"國(guó)家安全"理由，對(duì)中澳合作項(xiàng)目和既有成果變本加厲進(jìn)行限制和打壓，嚴(yán)重?fù)p害中澳兩國(guó)互信，破壞了正常交流合作的基礎(chǔ)，中方不得不作出必要的、正當(dāng)?shù)姆磻?yīng)，澳方必須對(duì)此承擔(dān)所有責(zé)任。

He made the remarks in response to a query on the decision by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) to indefinitely suspend all activities under the framework of the China-Australia Strategic Economic Dialogue starting from Thursday.
國(guó)家發(fā)展改革委當(dāng)天早些時(shí)候宣布，即日起無限期暫停中澳戰(zhàn)略經(jīng)濟(jì)對(duì)話機(jī)制下一切活動(dòng)。汪文斌就此回答提問時(shí)作出上述表示。

"China has always been of the view that a healthy and stable China-Australia relationship serves the fundamental interests of both countries," Wang said, adding that China-Australia cooperation is mutually beneficial and win-win in nature. Meanwhile, “mutual respect and trust are the prerequisites for dialogue and pragmatic cooperation between countries," said Wang.
汪文斌說，中方始終認(rèn)為，一個(gè)健康穩(wěn)定的中澳關(guān)系符合兩國(guó)的根本利益，中澳合作本質(zhì)上是互利共贏的。同時(shí)，相互尊重和良好互信是各國(guó)間開展對(duì)話和務(wù)實(shí)合作的前提。
