新冠肺炎疫情全球風(fēng)險(xiǎn)級(jí)別上調(diào)至“非常高”

世界衛(wèi)生組織總干事譚德塞2月28日在日內(nèi)瓦宣布，將新冠肺炎疫情全球風(fēng)險(xiǎn)級(jí)別由此前的“高”上調(diào)至“非常高”。譚德塞表示，鑒于目前新冠肺炎在全球多個(gè)國(guó)家蔓延，且有越來(lái)越多國(guó)家出現(xiàn)疫情，故提高新冠肺炎全球風(fēng)險(xiǎn)級(jí)別。

The World Health Organization upgraded its coronavirus risk assessment to "very high" on Friday as cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 disease continue to increase and in more countries.

據(jù)世衛(wèi)組織數(shù)據(jù)，截止到中部歐洲時(shí)間2月28日上午10點(diǎn)(北京時(shí)間下午5點(diǎn))，全球共確診83652例新型冠狀病毒病例(新增1358例)。

中國(guó)以外國(guó)家和地區(qū)確診4691例(新增1027例)，并有67例死亡(新增10例)。共有67個(gè)國(guó)家報(bào)告有確診病例(昨日新增5個(gè)國(guó)家——立陶宛、尼日利亞、新西蘭、白羅斯和圣馬力諾)。

譚德塞在當(dāng)天的例行記者會(huì)上說(shuō)，過(guò)去幾天里，全球新冠肺炎病例和受疫情影響國(guó)家的數(shù)量持續(xù)增加，這一現(xiàn)象顯然令人擔(dān)憂。“我們已將新冠肺炎在全球范圍的蔓延風(fēng)險(xiǎn)和影響風(fēng)險(xiǎn)評(píng)估上調(diào)至‘非常高’”。

"The continued increase in the number of cases, and the number of affected countries over the last few days, are clearly of concern," said the WHO's Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

"We have now increased our assessment of the risk of spread and the risk of impact of COVID-19 to very high at a global level," he said.

譚德塞表示，幾個(gè)國(guó)家出現(xiàn)了相互關(guān)聯(lián)的疫情發(fā)展，但多數(shù)病例仍然可以追蹤到密切接觸者，而且并未發(fā)現(xiàn)病毒在社區(qū)自由傳播的證據(jù)。

譚德塞強(qiáng)調(diào)，控制疫情的關(guān)鍵是阻斷病毒傳播鏈條(chains of transmission)。如果采取強(qiáng)有力的行動(dòng)盡早發(fā)現(xiàn)病例、對(duì)病人進(jìn)行隔離和護(hù)理、追蹤密切接觸者，“我們?nèi)杂袡C(jī)會(huì)控制這種病毒”。

"As long as that's the case, we still have a chance of containing this virus, if robust action is taken to detect cases early, isolate and care for patients and trace contacts," Tedros said.
