One person has died after a crash between a truck and car in Taranaki this morning.

今天早上在塔拉納基，一輛卡車和一輛汽車相撞，造成一人死亡。

The crash happened at 10:00am, about 10km south of Hawera on State Highway 3.

事故發(fā)生在上午10:00，在哈瓦拉以南約10公里的3號(hào)國(guó)道上。

Two ambulances and a helicopter attended the scene.

兩輛救護(hù)車和一架直升機(jī)趕赴現(xiàn)場(chǎng)。

Police say one person died as a result of the crash and they say no one else was injured.

警方說(shuō)，事故造成一人死亡，無(wú)人受傷。

The road re-opened around 2:45pm with a reduced speed in place - motorists are advised to have patience and expect delays in the area, as traffic is backed up.
