緬甸:季風性山體滑坡導致51人死亡

Myanmar Fire Services Department revealed on Sunday that a monsoon landslide that hit Mon state caused the death of 51 people.

緬甸消防部門周日透露，孟邦發(fā)生季風性山體滑坡，造成51人死亡。

Speaking to Xinhua, an official from the department assured that "search and rescue operations are being carried out by using life detectors such as Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC) and Leader Hasty."

在接受新華社采訪時，該部門的一名官員保證，“搜救行動正在使用熱成像相機(TIC)和Leader hurry等生命探測器進行。”

On Friday, as a result of the monsoon downpour, a collapse struck the mountainside of Ma-lat mountain to affect houses, cars and people in the area.

周五，由于季風帶來的傾盆大雨，瑪拉特山的山腰發(fā)生坍塌，影響到該地區(qū)的房屋、汽車和居民。

A number of towns including Paung, Mawlamyine and Mudon were flooded due to the monsoon rainfall while several schools were shut down for a brief time in Paung town.

由于季風降雨，包括邦、毛拉米因和穆東在內的一些城鎮(zhèn)被淹沒，邦鎮(zhèn)的幾所學校也被暫時關閉。
