George Clooney is standing up for his friend Meghan Markle.

喬治克魯尼正在為他的朋友梅根馬克爾助陣。

While promoting his upcoming Hulu series Catch-22, Clooney, 57, slammed the way Meghan, 37, has been treated since joining the royal family and compared her experience to that of the late Princess Diana.

57歲的克魯尼，最近正在宣傳自己的即將在Hulu上面播放的影片《第22條軍規(guī)》。他批判了媒體是如何對待37歲的梅根，并將她的經(jīng)歷和已故的戴安娜王妃做對比。

“They're just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she's been pursued and vilified,” Clooney told reporters, according to Australia's Who magazine.

據(jù)澳大利亞雜志《Who》的報道，在克魯尼接受記者采訪時稱：“梅根走到哪里他們就跟到哪里，她被跟蹤被誹謗，”

“She's a woman who is seven months pregnant and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was and it's history repeating itself.”

“她現(xiàn)在是一個懷有7個月身孕的婦女，和之前像戴安娜王妃一樣被尾隨被中傷，歷史被不斷地重演。”

 

 

“We've seen how that ends,” Clooney said，in reference to Princess Diana's fatal car crash in 1997 during which she was being chashed by paparazzi.

“我們都知道最后結(jié)局，”克魯尼說，暗指1997年，戴安娜王妃因為被狗仔隊的跟蹤而發(fā)生了致命的車禍。

On a much lighter note, Clooney, who attended Meghan and Prince Harry's May wedding with wife Amal Clooney, did reveal whether or not he will be the new royal baby's godfather.

克魯尼之前和妻子阿邁勒參加過梅根和哈里在5月舉辦的婚禮。在一個相對輕松的話題中，他就關(guān)于是否會成為孩子教父一事給出了答復。

“Oh yes, I'll be godfather of the royals apparently,” Clooney told reporters before clarifying he was joking with an emphatic, “No!”

“是的，我會成為這對王室夫婦的教父。”他開玩笑的說道，后來又肯定的說，“我不會。”

“I'm a father of twins, I have enough sh– to deal with — literally!” Clooney said

“我已經(jīng)是個雙胞胎的父親了，說真的有好多可忙的!”克魯尼說。

Amal, 41, gave birth to daughter Ella and son Alexander in June 2017.

現(xiàn)年41歲的阿邁勒在2017年六月為克魯尼誕下一對龍鳳胎，女兒Ella和兒子Alexander。

It was announced that Meghan and Prince Harry are expecting their first child in October 2018. The baby is due in Spring 2019.

梅根和哈里在2018年10月宣布將會在2019年春天迎來自己的孩子。

Clooney isn't the only close friend of Meghan to come to her defense.

不過克魯尼可不是唯一捍衛(wèi)梅根利益的好友。
