中印2018聯(lián)合反恐演習(xí)拉開帷幕

A joint military drill between China and Indiakicked off last Tuesday in Chengdu, the capital city ofsouthwest China's Sichuan Province.

上周二，中國(guó)-印度聯(lián)合軍演在中國(guó)西南部四川省省會(huì)成都拉開帷幕。

Codenamed "Hand-in-Hand 2018", the training aimsto strengthen the counter-terrorism capabilities ofthe two armies.

本次活動(dòng)代號(hào)為“攜手-2018”，旨在加強(qiáng)兩軍的反恐能力。

During the 14-day event, troops from both sides willinteract with each other. They are scheduled to havebasic trainings, establish a unified anti-terrorism command and conduct live-fire anti-terrorism operations.

在此次為期14天的軍演中，雙方部隊(duì)將進(jìn)行互動(dòng)。他們將接受基本訓(xùn)練，建立統(tǒng)一的反恐指揮部，并開展實(shí)彈反恐行動(dòng)。

Wang Weijun, head of the Chinese side, said through this joint exercise, the two armies can learn good training methods from each other, which is conducive to improving their capabilities in response to the menace of terrorism.

中方負(fù)責(zé)人王衛(wèi)軍表示，通過(guò)這次聯(lián)合演習(xí)，雙方軍隊(duì)可以相互學(xué)習(xí)良好的訓(xùn)練方法，這有助于提高應(yīng)對(duì)恐怖主義威脅的能力。

"On the other hand, it will promote mutual trust between us and bring our exchange and cooperation to a higher level," said Wang.

王衛(wèi)軍說(shuō)：“另一方面，這將促進(jìn)我們之間的相互信任，將我們的交流與合作提高到一個(gè)更高的水平。”

The Indian side also expresses their expectation for this cooperation.

印度方面對(duì)此也表示很期待。

"The People's Liberation Army and the Indian army are both very professional armies. We have a lot to learn from each other. By these exchanges and such exercises, we can achieve a lot of synergy, understanding of each other's procedures and achieve anti-terror capability, so that we can increase friendship between our two armies," said colonel Puneet Pratap Singh Tomar, head of the Indian side.

印度方面負(fù)責(zé)人普奈特·普拉塔普·辛格·托馬爾上校表示：“人民解放軍和印度軍隊(duì)都是非常專業(yè)的軍隊(duì)。我們有很多東西要互相學(xué)習(xí)。通過(guò)這些交流和這樣的演習(xí)，我們可以實(shí)現(xiàn)很大的協(xié)同作用，了解彼此的程序，達(dá)到鍛煉反恐的能力，這樣我們就可以增進(jìn)兩軍之間的友誼。”

This is the seventh joint training in the series between the two sides since 2007. It will last until December 23.

這是雙方自2007年以來(lái)的第七次聯(lián)合軍演，此次軍演將持續(xù)到12月23日。
