機(jī)器人誤開驅(qū)熊噴霧 亞馬遜廠房24人被送進(jìn)醫(yī)院

近日，亞馬遜的一座廠房又被報道存在安全漏洞。

This time, twenty four workers at the New Jersey facility were hospitalised by one of the site robots which accidentally collided with a canister of bear repellent spray, showering it on surrounding human workers.

這一次，亞馬遜新澤西廠房的24名工人被現(xiàn)場的一臺機(jī)器人送進(jìn)了醫(yī)院，這臺機(jī)器人不小心碰觸到了一瓶驅(qū)熊噴霧，導(dǎo)致噴霧劑噴到了周圍的員工身上。

In addition to the 24 victims sent to five local hospitals, a further 30 were treated at the scene, reports ABC News affiliate WABC.

據(jù)ABC新聞旗下WABC報道，除了24名受害者被送往當(dāng)?shù)?家醫(yī)院外，還有30名受害者在現(xiàn)場接受了治療。

An investigation concluded that "an automated machine accidentally punctured a 9-ounce bear repellent can, releasing concentrated Capsaican," For those without a chemistry qualification-- that basically means pepper spray.

據(jù)調(diào)查結(jié)果表明，事情起因是一臺自動化機(jī)器不小心刺穿了一個9盎司的驅(qū)熊噴霧，釋放出濃縮的辣椒素。如果你沒有什么化學(xué)常識，你可以把它理解為辣椒噴霧。

Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union President Stuart Appelbaum said in a statement: "Amazon's automated robots put humans in life-threatening danger today, the effects of which could be catastrophic and the long-term effects for 80 plus workers are unknown."

零售、批發(fā)和百貨公司工會主席斯圖爾特·阿佩爾鮑姆發(fā)表了一則聲明稱：“亞馬遜的自動化機(jī)器人如今將人類置于危及生命的危險之中，其后果可能是災(zāi)難性的，對80多名工人的長期影響尚不清楚。”

Unions are not recognised by Amazon, but remain vocal in conditions for people working for one of the countries bigger employers.

"The richest company in the world cannot continue to be let off the hook for putting hardworking people's lives at risk. Our union will not back down until Amazon is held accountable for these and so many more dangerous labour practices," Stuart said.

斯圖爾特表示：“這個世界上最富有的公司不能因為置辛勤工作員工的生命于危險之中而繼續(xù)逍遙法外。我們工會不會對此置之不理，亞馬遜必須對此事甚至許多更危險的勞工行為負(fù)責(zé)。”
