因誤診患有癌癥 美國一老人兩健康腎臟被切除

A 73-year-old Colorado woman has been undergoing four hours of dialysis three days a week after she claims doctors erroneously removed both of her healthy kidneys six months ago.

科羅拉多州一名73歲的婦女聲稱，6個月前醫(yī)生錯誤地摘除了她健康的兩個腎臟，導(dǎo)致她現(xiàn)在每周要花三天做四個小時的透析。

Linda Woolley, who is now on a transplant waiting list, claims doctors at the University of Colorado Hospital thought she had kidney cancer.

正等待做移植手術(shù)的琳達(dá)·伍利稱，科羅拉多大學(xué)醫(yī)院的醫(yī)生當(dāng)時認(rèn)為她患有腎癌。

According to a FOX 31 investigation, a March 2018 biopsy report allegedly showed "no evidence of malignancy," but two months later, both of Woolley's organs were removed.

根據(jù)?？怂?1頻道的調(diào)查，2018年3月的活檢檢查報告顯示“沒有惡性腫瘤的證據(jù)”，但是兩個月后，伍利的兩個腎臟都被切除了。

"I was not real happy," she told the news outlet, after learning that she did not have cancer. "My life was totally changed. Dialysis is no picnic no matter how used to it you get, it robs you of your life."

在得知自己根本沒有患癌之后，她向新聞媒體透露：“我很生氣，我的生活完全改變了。透析不是一件輕松愉快的事，不管你如何習(xí)慣它，它剝奪了你的生活。”

 

 

A spokesperson told the news outlet the hospital did not "have any information" about the case and Woolley, who has since hired an attorney, claims she wasn't even offered an apology.

"It is terrifying because you have no choice when you go into a hospital," Woolley told FOX 31. "You trust that you're going to be taken care of."

A follow-up from the news outlet said they've received offers from potential kidney donors since publishing their original article.

新聞機構(gòu)的后續(xù)報道稱，自從他們發(fā)表了這篇原創(chuàng)文章后，有潛在的腎臟捐贈者表示愿意給她捐腎臟。

Woolley said that even if they don't match her O+ requirements, maybe the donation can spark an organ swap with another patient who does meet her type.
