南京大學(xué)用大數(shù)據(jù)為學(xué)生分配宿舍

Nanjing University has collected incoming freshmen's living habits, hobbies and other characteristics through online questionnaires for the second year, providing big data for precisely arranging for compatible students to live together.

南京大學(xué)已連續(xù)第二年通過(guò)網(wǎng)絡(luò)問(wèn)卷調(diào)查收集新生的生活習(xí)慣、愛(ài)好等特征，為精準(zhǔn)地將意趣相投的學(xué)生安排在一起生活提供大數(shù)據(jù)。

The university launched the online questionnaires in early August, containing not only survey options, such as study and rest timetables, air conditioner preferences and personal hygiene habits, but also open-ended questions such as interests and hobbies.

8月初，南大開(kāi)始進(jìn)行網(wǎng)絡(luò)問(wèn)卷調(diào)查，不僅有作息時(shí)間、空調(diào)使用偏好和個(gè)人衛(wèi)生習(xí)慣等調(diào)查選項(xiàng)，還有興趣愛(ài)好等開(kāi)放性問(wèn)題。

The university assured them that the data collected would only be used for reference in the allocation of dormitories.

該校向?qū)W生保證，收集的數(shù)據(jù)只在宿舍分配時(shí)參考使用。

About 80 percent of the freshmen have finished the online questionnaires voluntarily by far, said Li Hao, a teacher in charge of enrollment at the university.

該校負(fù)責(zé)招生的老師李浩表示，到目前為止，大約80%的大一新生已經(jīng)自愿完成了網(wǎng)上問(wèn)卷。

The university started using big data in distributing dormitories for freshmen last year. A recent survey showed that students lived together more harmoniously due to the new allocation system.

南大從去年開(kāi)始利用大數(shù)據(jù)為新生分配宿舍。最近進(jìn)行的一項(xiàng)調(diào)查顯示，得益于新的分配制度，學(xué)生們共同生活的和睦度有所提高。

By avoiding big personal differences in initial allocation of dormitories through big data analysis, dormitory members can better learn from and influence each other, and get along more quickly, said Gong Yue, who is in charge of student affairs at the university.
