After a suspicious 20-day absence from all public appearances, US first lady Melania Trump resurfaced last Wednesday with a tweet that responded to questions about her whereabouts and took a jab at the press.

在公眾視線中消失已有20天并引起了一些猜測(cè)之后，美國(guó)第一夫人梅拉尼婭·特朗普在上周三重新露面，并發(fā)出了一則推文回復(fù)有關(guān)她下落的問(wèn)題，并向媒體進(jìn)行了抨擊。

"I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am and what I'm doing," she tweeted. "Rest assured, I'm here at the @White House with my family, feeling great, and working hard on behalf of children and the American people!"

Melania's communications director, Stephanie Grisham, made a point of re-tweeting the message, adding, "Straight from FLOTUS herself!"
