美國男孩在被宣布腦死亡后竟蘇醒

An Alabama boy named Trenton McKinley is recovering from an accident no one thought he'd survive.

一個名叫特倫敦·麥金萊的阿拉巴馬男孩正從一場意外中恢復(fù)過來，此前沒有人認(rèn)為他能活下來。

In fact, doctors declared him dead and were getting ready to donate his organs when he regained consciousness.

事實(shí)上，醫(yī)生宣布了他已死亡，且在他重獲知覺時正為捐獻(xiàn)他的器官做準(zhǔn)備。

The 13-year-old was at a friend's house two months ago, playing in a small utility trailer.

兩個月前在一個朋友家里，這個十三歲的男孩正在一輛小型實(shí)用拖車中玩耍。

"It flipped and I hit the concrete, and the trailer landed on top of my head," said Trenton. "After that, I don't remember anything."

特倫敦說：“它翻倒了然后我撞向了地面，拖車壓在了我的腦袋上。之后我就什么都不記得了。”

Trenton suffered severe brain trauma and was rushed to an Alabama hospital with seven skull fractures.

特倫頓受了嚴(yán)重的腦部創(chuàng)傷，并被立即送往阿拉巴馬州一家醫(yī)院，他的頭上共有7處顱骨骨折。

He was declared brain dead and his parents signed paperwork to donate his organs to save five other children.

之后，他被宣布腦死亡，他的父母簽署了捐獻(xiàn)器官的相關(guān)文書以挽救其它五個孩子。

But then, the day before doctors were set to take him off life support, Trenton woke up.

但就在醫(yī)生決定撤掉他的生命維持系統(tǒng)的前一天，特倫頓醒過來了。

Now he's in rehab, and although he has a long road ahead, he's getting stronger every day.

如今特倫敦正在康復(fù)，盡管還有很長的路要走，他正一天天好起來。
