騰訊市值突破5000億美元 超過臉書成為全球第五

騰訊控股21日再次大漲，市值約合5288億美元，超越臉書成為全球市值第五大的公司，僅次于蘋果、谷歌、微軟和亞馬遜。半年前，大家還在津津樂道騰訊阿里誰將率先拿下5000億市值大關，如今騰訊已經(jīng)成功超車阿里，并且一路猛升。

Tencent, the Chinese internet giant behind the WeChat messaging app, has surpassed Facebook in value after it became the first company in China to be worth more than $500 billion.

日前，騰訊公司市值超越臉書公司,成為中國首個市值超過5000億美元的公司，旗下產品有微信消息應用程序。

The company's share price rose 2.4 percent on Tuesday in Hong Kong to leapfrog Facebook and become the world's fifth-most valuable listed company, disrupting the hegemony of the US tech behemoths.

本周二(11月21日)，根據(jù)港交所的數(shù)據(jù)，騰訊公司股價上漲2.4%，超過臉書公司，在全球上市公司中市值排名第五位，打破了美國大型科技公司的壟斷地位。

The WeChat messaging app has around 500 million users in China, and almost 1 billion in total. Unlike most messaging apps in the West, it is far more than a mere communications service, but acts as a "portal" for thousands of different products, from payments to customer service.

中國微信用戶有大約5億人，全球用戶接近10億人。和西方大多數(shù)消息應用程序不同，微信不僅僅是一個交流工具，還是數(shù)千種不同產品的入口，涵蓋了從支付到客戶服務等多方面。

Tencent is also a huge player in mobile games, owning Clash of Clans maker Supercell and the smash hit Honour of Kings. It also owns large stakes in Snapchat, Chinese online retailer JD.com and taxi-hailing app Didi, as well as having China's most popular video website.

騰訊在手機游戲領域的實力也不俗，不僅擁有大熱游戲《王者榮耀》，還收購了《部落沖突》手游開發(fā)商Supercell。騰訊公司還持有Snapchat、京東商城和滴滴出行公司的股份。此外，騰訊視頻在國內也非常受歡迎。

The company also has a stake in ride-sharing app Lyft and electric-vehicle maker Tesla.

Shares have more than doubled this year, making Tencent Asia's most valuable company. It is the first Asian firm to surpass a market value of $500 billion.

Last week it posted better-than-expected third-quarter results, largely because of the success of its gaming empire, sending shares up.

Tencent's share price was lifted by the announcement that it would roll out its WeChat payment services in Malaysia next year.

It is also expected to bring its hugely popular multiplayer game Honour of Kings to the United States.

The magazine valued him at $48.3 billion on Tuesday, making him the world's ninth richest man according to its ranking.
