Chinese express delivery companies have taken a new measure to protect the privacy of customers, by using new parcel waybills that show partial information about the sender and the receiver.
所謂“隱私面單”(privacy waybill),是指面單上并不完整顯示收件人的信息,而是通過(guò)技術(shù)手段將用戶的手機(jī)號(hào)、姓名和地址等信息做加密處理(customers' information including names, addresses, and phone numbers are encrypted),快遞員通過(guò)公司自主研發(fā)的APP,直接撥號(hào)聯(lián)系到收件用戶。
On the parcel waybills, names, phone numbers and addresses are shown only partially, with signs such as "(^_^)" or "*" being used to take the place of some of the details.
為了減少個(gè)人信息“裸奔”(personal information displayed without any protection),隱私面單已經(jīng)成為諸多快遞企業(yè)的選擇。
中國(guó)人民大學(xué)商法教授劉俊海說(shuō),新的快遞單是平衡實(shí)名制與個(gè)人隱私的一項(xiàng)重要技術(shù)手(a key technical means to balance the real-name system and personal privacy)。
