農(nóng)村學生營養(yǎng)改善計劃將覆蓋所有國貧縣

More than 34 million rural students have benefitedfrom the Chinese government's rural nutritionprogram since 2011, according to the Ministry ofEducation.

教育部日前表示，中國政府自2011年起實施的農(nóng)村營養(yǎng)改善計劃，已經(jīng)使超過3400萬的農(nóng)村學生從中受益。

The program was launched on a pilot basis toaddress malnutrition in rural areas, and thegovernment began to allocate three yuan (0.43 U.S.dollars) a day per student to supplement their dietswith nutritious meals. This was increased to fouryuan from 2015.

該計劃最早在農(nóng)村地區(qū)試點進行，以改善學生營養(yǎng)不良的情況。政府每天會補貼每名學生3元(0.43美元)，為伙食補充營養(yǎng)。自2015年起該標準提高到了每天4元。

The program has been expanded to cover 1,502 counties in 29 out of the Chinesemainland's 31provincial regions, according to the ministry.

教育部表示，該營養(yǎng)改善計劃的覆蓋范圍目前已經(jīng)擴大到了中國大陸31個省份中29個省的1502個縣。

 

 

Prevalence of anemia among the students dropped by 8.9 percentage points from 2012 to2015, data from the National Institute of Nutrition and Health under the Chinese Center forDisease Control and Prevention show.

根據(jù)中國疾病預(yù)防控制中心營養(yǎng)與健康研究所的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，從2012年至2015年，農(nóng)村學生的貧血率已經(jīng)降低了8.9個百分點。

The students' physical fitness has improved and their academic performance also beenenhanced along with their nutrition, the ministry said.

該部門表示，營養(yǎng)加強后，這些學生的身體素質(zhì)有了明顯的提升，學習成績也有所提高。

Education Minister Chen Baosheng said the government aims to expand the program to coverall poverty-stricken counties.

教育部部長陳寶生稱，政府的目標是將營養(yǎng)改善計劃覆蓋至所有的貧困縣。
