蘋果公司投資滴滴10億美元

Many insiders commented that Apple had made agreat deal, which is to invest $1 billion in DidiChuxing, Uber's rival in China. Apple's massivefunding contribution is the largest singleinvestment Didi has received, reports Reuters.

許多業(yè)內(nèi)人士近日表示,蘋果已經(jīng)完成了一筆數(shù)額巨大的交易,即給優(yōu)步在中國的死敵--滴滴出行投資10億美元。據(jù)路透社報(bào)道,蘋果的這項(xiàng)巨額投資是滴滴獲得的最大一筆單體投資。

According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the companyhopes to gain insight on the sometimes complexChinese market, an area of great importance to future growth.

據(jù)蘋果CEO庫克透露,盡管中國市場(chǎng)有時(shí)候很復(fù)雜,但是其對(duì)未來經(jīng)濟(jì)的增長有著不可比擬的重要性,因此蘋果希望能夠更多地參與到中國市場(chǎng)中去。

"We are making the investment for a number of strategic reasons, including a chance to learnmore about certain segments of the China market," Cook said. "Of course, we believe it willdeliver a strong return for our invested capital over time as well."

庫克說:“我們正在做的這項(xiàng)投資是基于一些戰(zhàn)略原因的考慮,這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)能夠讓我們對(duì)中國市場(chǎng)的某些領(lǐng)域有更多的了解。當(dāng)然,我們也相信隨著時(shí)間的推移,我們的投資決定將會(huì)帶來巨大的回報(bào)。”

The announcement was also reported by The Information's Amir Efrati, who disclosed thedevelopment in a tweet.

Didi currently offers a variety of transportation services in China, including taxi and privatecar hailing, designated drivers and peer-to-peer products like ride-sharing. In February, TheWall Street Journal reported the Chinese firm was looking to raise a total of $1 billion frominvestors in a bid to compete against global ride sharing technology powerhouse Uber.

滴滴目前在中國市場(chǎng)提供包括出租車和私家車打車服務(wù),代駕司機(jī)服務(wù)以及拼車等一系列運(yùn)輸服務(wù)。今年二月份,《華爾街日?qǐng)?bào)》指出,滴滴為和國際拼車科技巨頭Uber競(jìng)爭(zhēng),正在尋求一筆總額達(dá)到10億美元的投資。

Whereas Uber dominates in established Western markets, Didi controls China, facilitating morethan 11 million rides each day. That includes a more than 87 percent share of the private carhailing market. Both companies rely on apps as a main mode of connecting passengers withdrivers.

Uber在西方市場(chǎng)占據(jù)了主導(dǎo)地位,而滴滴則控制了中國市場(chǎng),其每天的業(yè)務(wù)成交量超過1100萬。這一數(shù)據(jù)有超過87%的部分來自于私家車打車市場(chǎng)。Uber和滴滴都依賴手機(jī)app,并將其作為連接乘客和司機(jī)的的主要模式。

"That is what we do today in the car business, so we will have to see what the future holds,"Cook said.

庫克表示:“這(只)是我們現(xiàn)在從事汽車行業(yè)的做法,所以我們必須看一看未來這個(gè)行業(yè)是個(gè)什么樣子。”
