女子因臉大被離婚 "大方臉"變尖臉后下巴失靈

　　Though the unverified story was short on details, anddid not have the husband's side of the story, "divorced because of fat face" quickly became a toptrend on microblogging network Weibo.

　　雖然這一未經(jīng)證實(shí)的事件缺乏足夠的細(xì)節(jié)，故事的“男主角”也還沒有出現(xiàn)，但是“女子因臉大而離婚”還是迅速成為了微博熱門話題。

　　Liaoshen Wanbao reported the 49-year-old woman inShenyang city had claimed her husband had divorcedher 10 years ago because he disliked the shape ofher face, said to be "large and square" with "fatcheeks".

　　據(jù)遼沈晚報(bào)報(bào)道，沈陽(yáng)一名49歲的女子聲稱，她的丈夫在10年前和她離婚了，只因?yàn)樗幌矚g她的臉型，說她是“大方臉”、“大胖臉”。

　　She said it spurred her to undergo facial surgery three times at a local hospital to shave herjawbones and reshape her face into a slimmer shape. During the third surgery the doctorsdiscovered that if they proceeded further her nerves may be damaged, and halted theprocedure.

　　該女士表示，這促使她在當(dāng)?shù)蒯t(yī)院前后接受了三次面部手術(shù)，削尖了下頜骨，將臉型重塑得更瘦一些。在第三次手術(shù)的時(shí)候，醫(yī)生發(fā)現(xiàn)進(jìn)一步的手術(shù)可能會(huì)傷害到神經(jīng)，于是停止了手術(shù)。

　　The woman, identified only by her surname Wang, later sued the hospital for 1.7 million yuanin damages. She alleged the surgery had left her with soreness in her chin, and she could onlyeat and drink through a straw as "when she exerted force on her lower jaw, she had thesensation that it would break".

　　據(jù)悉，該名女子姓王，她在這之后狀告醫(yī)院，向院方索賠170萬(wàn)元。她表示，術(shù)后她感到下巴疼痛，只能借助吸管吃流食，“當(dāng)下頜用力時(shí)，她感覺下頜就要裂開了”。

　　The hospital, however, argued that the surgeries were conducted according to regulations, andpointed out that they encouraged her to seek psychiatric help instead of a third operation,which she refused.

　　但是，院方對(duì)此解釋稱，手術(shù)是依照正規(guī)程序進(jìn)行的，并指出當(dāng)時(shí)他們?cè)ㄗh該女子去看心理醫(yī)生而不是進(jìn)行第三次手術(shù)，但是她拒絕了。

　　After mediation the woman agreed to accept 20,000 yuan as compensation, said the report.

　　據(jù)報(bào)道，經(jīng)調(diào)解該女子同意接受2萬(wàn)元的賠償金。

　　On Weibo, some condemned the woman's husband, but others also chastised the woman. Onetop-voted comment read: "It's purely an excuse, if her face was large then why did he decideto marry her in the first place? If he stopped loving her then he should have just said so."

　　在微博上，一些人譴責(zé)該女子的前夫，但也有人嚴(yán)厲批評(píng)了女子本人。其中支持率最多的一條評(píng)論是：“這純粹是一個(gè)借口，如果是因?yàn)樗槾螅撬麨槭裁磩傞_始的時(shí)候決定與她結(jié)婚。如果他不再愛她，那么他應(yīng)該說實(shí)話。”

　　It continued: "This woman is also very silly to have believed that her face shape was the realreason for the divorce, she is lying to herself."

　　Said another Weibo user: "Even if you had gone for facial surgery and made your face smaller,he would still have found other reasons to divorce you."

　　One person noted the sharp difference in the compensation amount and voiced suspicions: "1.7 million was dropped to 20,000, it makes me wonder if she really did have a problem withher jaw."

　　有人注意到賠償數(shù)額的巨大差異，并表示懷疑：“170萬(wàn)降至2萬(wàn)元，這讓我懷疑她的下巴是否真有問題。”

　　Still others took the opportunity to crack jokes. "What an odd reason for divorce! I wonderhow square was this woman's square-shaped face? Like a television set? Microwave oven?"
