教育部:我國(guó)將恢復(fù)兒科本科招生

　　China plans to restore the admission of pediatricundergraduates in universities to cater to theincreasingly urgent demand for pediatricians afterthe country's only-child policy was loosened.

　　我國(guó)計(jì)劃恢復(fù)高校兒科學(xué)本科招生，以應(yīng)對(duì)全面二孩政策出臺(tái)后國(guó)家日益急需兒科醫(yī)師的現(xiàn)狀。

　　The National Health and Family Planning Commissionannounced on its website on Thursday that it "willjoin hands with the Ministry of Education to resumethe admission of undergraduates in the pediatricsdepartments in universities" in 2016.

　　國(guó)家衛(wèi)生和計(jì)劃生育委員會(huì)上周四在其官網(wǎng)表示，2016年將會(huì)與教育部攜手恢復(fù)大學(xué)兒科本科招生。

　　A total of 8 universities, including China Medical University and Chongqing Medical University,will take the lead in enrolling pediatric undergraduates this summer. China aims to have at leastone higher learning institute in each provincial-level region offering undergraduate pediatriccourses by 2020, according to the Ministry of Education (MOE).

　　中國(guó)醫(yī)科大學(xué)、重慶醫(yī)科大學(xué)等8所高校將于今夏率先開始招收兒科學(xué)本科生。教育部表示，力爭(zhēng)到2020年每省(區(qū)、市)至少有1所高校舉辦兒科學(xué)本科層次專業(yè)教育。

　　In 1998, the Ministry of Education closed all undergraduate pediatrics departments in thecountry's universities in order to adopt a more general medical education system. Thedecision greatly reduced the number of pediatric graduates.

　　在1998年，教育部為了采用通科的醫(yī)學(xué)教育體系，關(guān)停了全國(guó)高校的所有本科兒科學(xué)院。這一決定大大減少了兒科專業(yè)畢業(yè)生的數(shù)量

　　According to the 2015 China Health Statistics Yearbook, there are only 43 pediatricians forevery 100,000 children, compared with around 160 doctors for every 100,000 children in theUS. And an investigation by the National Association of Pediatricians showed that China lacked200,000 pediatricians, but only 5,000 pediatricians can be trained and begin practicing in thecoming five years.

　　根據(jù)2015年中國(guó)衛(wèi)生統(tǒng)計(jì)年鑒統(tǒng)計(jì)顯示，每十萬(wàn)名兒童只能對(duì)應(yīng)43名兒科醫(yī)生，而美國(guó)則是每十萬(wàn)名兒童對(duì)應(yīng)160名醫(yī)生。而且根據(jù)全國(guó)兒科醫(yī)師協(xié)會(huì)的調(diào)查顯示，中國(guó)目前缺少二十萬(wàn)名兒科醫(yī)生，但是在接下來(lái)的5年內(nèi)，只有5000名兒科醫(yī)生可以接受訓(xùn)練并開始實(shí)習(xí)。

　　Long working hours and low pay are also blamed for medical students being unwilling tochoose pediatrics – reports show that working hours for pediatricians in China are 1.48 timeslonger than the average working day for other physicians, but they only earn 46 percent theaverage salary for doctors.

　　工作時(shí)間長(zhǎng)、薪酬待遇低也被認(rèn)為是醫(yī)科學(xué)生不愿意選擇兒科專業(yè)的原因。有報(bào)告顯示，中國(guó)兒科醫(yī)生的工作時(shí)間是其他醫(yī)生平均工作時(shí)間的1.48倍，但是他們只能掙到醫(yī)生平均工資的46%。

　　As the government relaxed the national family planning policy this year, 90 million Chinesewomen will be allowed to have a second child, and an expected baby boom in coming yearsgreatly increases the need for child care professionals.

　　隨著我國(guó)政府今年全面放開計(jì)劃生育國(guó)策，將有九千萬(wàn)名中國(guó)女性會(huì)被允許生二胎。預(yù)計(jì)未來(lái)幾年的嬰兒潮將大大增加對(duì)兒童保健專業(yè)人士的需求。
