8.44億：日本傳媒巨頭收購英國《金融時報》

　　Publishing group Pearson has announced it is to sell the Financial Times Group to Japanese media firm Nikkei for £844m in cash.

　　培生出版集團已經(jīng)宣布將《金融時報》集團以8.44億英鎊出售給日本新聞經(jīng)濟傳媒公司。

　　Speculation that Pearson was eying a sale of the 127-year old newspaper emerged on Monday.

　　對于培生集團有意將這個擁有127年歷史的報紙外售的推測早已不絕于耳，而在本周一此傳聞更是甚囂塵上。

　　The sale does not include Pearson's 50% stake in the Economist or the FT's London office at One Southwark Bridge, the company said in its statement.

　　培生公司在聲明中稱，這次出售并不包括培生集團在《經(jīng)濟學人》50%的股份以及《金融時報》在南華克橋一號的倫敦物業(yè)。

　　Shares in the group closed up more than 2% on the news.

　　消息公布后，培生集團的股價立刻上漲了2%。

　　"Pearson has been a proud proprietor of the FT for nearly 60 years. But we've reached aninflection point in media, driven by the explosive growth of mobile and social", said Pearson's chief executive John Fallon.

　　培生集團的首席執(zhí)行官范岳涵表示：“培生集團作為《金融時報》的王牌東家已經(jīng)快要60年了。但是卻因為移動媒體和社交每天的迅猛發(fā)展出現(xiàn)了轉(zhuǎn)折。”

　　"In this new environment, the best way to ensure the FT's journalistic and commercial success is for it to be part of a global, digital news company," he continued.

　　他還說：“在這個全新的環(huán)境中，能夠確?！督鹑跁r報》在新聞業(yè)和商業(yè)上的成功的最佳辦法就是讓它成為一家全球化的數(shù)字新聞公司的一部分。”

　　Pearson, which also owns a large stake in the book publisher Penguin Random House, has long been thought ready to sell the newspaper.

　　培生集團在圖書出版商企鵝蘭登書屋也持有大量股份，因為一直以來都被認為準備將《金融時報》外售。

　　The publishing group has been moving increasingly into the provision of education services in North America and in emerging markets. It has previously said it remainedcommitted to the newspaper because of its strong brand.

　　這家出版公司在北美地區(qū)以及一些新興市場中將業(yè)務逐漸轉(zhuǎn)向教育服務領(lǐng)域。此前其曾聲稱由于其品牌的強勢將會持續(xù)致力于新聞報業(yè)。
