A Chinese company has invented a way to keep your car covered - without the need for a garage.

The retractable car garage acts as a movable cocoon that wraps around your vehicle when it's stopped in a regular car space.

Not only that, but it's solar powered so you'll be saving the Earth too.

The invention comes from Shanghai Chaoye Energy & Technology Co., which specialises in developing large scale photo-voltaic energy vehicle accessories.

這款新型車庫由上海巢野能源科技有限公司發(fā)明，該公司專門從事大型光伏能源汽車配件的研發(fā)。

The firm, which started in 2010, says it has signed contracts with a number of companies in China and overseas.

Within the next two years it also intends to develop a number of products, including an automatic car cleaning room.
