[雙語新聞]代理律師稱挪威爆炸案嫌疑犯可能精神失常

The man who has admitted to twin attacks that killed at least 76 people in Norway is likely 'insane' and convinced he is at the vanguard of a decades-long cultural war, according to the lawyer representing him.
挪威爆炸和槍擊嫌疑人布雷維克（Anders Behring Breivik）已承認制造了這兩起至少造成76人身亡的連環(huán)襲擊。據(jù)其代理律師稱，布雷維克可能是“精神失常”并堅信自己是一場長達幾十年的文化戰(zhàn)爭的前鋒人物。

Speaking at a Tuesday news conference, Mr. Lippestad said his client believed the massacre had been necessary to start a revolution. 'He's in a war and thinks that the whole Western world doesn't understand his point of view, but that in 60 years' time we will all understand,' Mr. Lippestad said.

Though Mr. Lippestad said it was early to say whether the 32-year-old Mr. Breivik would plead insanity, 'the whole case indicated that he is insane,' he said. 'He has a view of reality that none of the rest of us share.'

Police in Oslo have also come under growing scrutiny for the time it took to apprehend Mr. Breivik on the island after the first call for help. Mr. Lippestad said that his client had expressed surprise at how long it took for police to stop him.

Government records show Mr. Breivik registered a business, Geofarm, in May 2009, though its main business activity was at first listed as trading stocks and other investments.

In April, he listed Geofarm's new address as a farmhouse he leased in the Norwegian village of Aasta, about 100 miles north of Oslo. In his 1,500-page manifesto, published online Friday just hours before the attacks, Mr. Breivik wrote of his bomb-making preparations there.
