　　考生應能掌握5 500左右的詞匯以及相關詞組。除掌握詞匯的基本含義外，考生還應掌握詞匯之間的詞義關系，掌握詞匯之間的搭配關系，掌握詞匯生成的基本知識。英語大綱核心詞匯(2)：

　　1. accumulate

　　vt. 堆積，積累;

　　vi. (數(shù)量)逐漸增加，(質量)漸漸提高;

　　[例句]Households accumulate wealth across a broad spectrum of assets.

　　家庭在以各種各樣的資產形式積累財富。

　　2. accurate

　　adj. 精確的，準確的;正確無誤的;

　　[例句]Police have stressed that this is the most accurate description of the killer to date.

　　警方強調這是迄今對兇手最精確的描述。

　　3. accuse

　　v. 指控;指責，譴責;

　　[例句]We resolve not to accuse them to avoid troubles.

　　我們決定不起訴他們。

　　4. accustom

　　vt. 使習慣;

　　[例句]The team has accustomed itself to the pace of first division rugby.

　　5. acquaint
