智利復活節(jié)島巨像

Look at these statues! They are not common statues. Their height is 4 metres to 10 metres. The tallest one is over 20 metres tall! And their weight is 10 tons to 100 tons. There are about 600 statues here.

These statues are on Easter Island of Chile. They are made of stones. They all have long faces and long ears. They are all busts.

Who made these statues?

 

人們相信，4世紀時，玻利尼西亞人移居至此，并創(chuàng)造了獨有的紀念雕像傳統(tǒng)。在公元700年玻利尼西亞人在島上開始建造這些巨大的石像。1995年，該島被列入世界遺產名錄。
