學(xué)習(xí)英語之between和among區(qū)別用法匯總分享

　　一般說來，among用于三者或三者以上的“在……中間”，其賓語通常是一個(gè)表示籠統(tǒng)數(shù)量或具有復(fù)數(shù)(或集合)意義的名詞或代詞;而between主要指兩者之間，其賓語往往是表示兩者的名詞或代詞，或者是由and連接的兩個(gè)人或物。

　　1. between 表示某人(物)在兩個(gè)或者兩個(gè)以上的為數(shù)不多的單獨(dú)的人或物之間;among表示某人(物)在一群人/一組人/一堆人或物中間，通常是三者以上，是不被單獨(dú)看待的。如：

　　She was standing between Alice and Mary.

　　我站在Alice和Mary中間。

　　She was standing among a crowd of children.

　　她站在一群小孩中間。

　　Our house is between the wood,the river and the viliage.

　　我們的房子在樹木，河流和小鎮(zhèn)中間。

　　His house is hidden among the trees.

　　他的房子隱藏在樹林中間。

　　2. between也可以用在三者以上的事物中間，表示一物和數(shù)物之間的關(guān)系，

　　如：

　　a little valley between high mountains.

　　小村莊在大山中間。

　　I saw something between the wheels of the car.

　　我看到某物在車輪中間。

　　3. divide……between,share ……between(在……之間分享)

　　可以用在單數(shù)名詞前，當(dāng)在復(fù)數(shù)名詞前使用時(shí)，between/among都可以使用，

　　如：

　　He divided his money between his wife,his daughter and his sister.

　　他把錢分給了妻子，女兒和妹妹。

　　I shared the food between/among all my friends.

　　我把食物跟我所有的朋友分享了。
