故事發(fā)生在1866年，法國(guó)人阿羅納克斯，一位生物學(xué)家，應(yīng)邀赴美參加一項(xiàng)科學(xué)考察活動(dòng)。這時(shí)，海上出了個(gè)怪物，在全世界鬧得沸沸揚(yáng)揚(yáng)?？瓶蓟顒?dòng)結(jié)束之后，生物學(xué)家正準(zhǔn)備束裝就道，返回法國(guó)，卻接到美國(guó)海軍部的邀請(qǐng)，于是改弦更張，登上了一艘驅(qū)逐艦，參與“把那個(gè)怪物從海洋中清除出去 ”的活動(dòng)。

　　經(jīng)過(guò)千辛萬(wàn)苦，“怪物”未被清除，驅(qū)逐艦反被“怪物”重創(chuàng)，生物學(xué)家和他的仆人以及為清除“怪物”被特意請(qǐng)到驅(qū)逐艦上來(lái)的一名捕鯨手，都成了“怪物”的俘虜!結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn)“怪物”是一艘尚不為世人所知的潛水艇，名“鸚鵡螺”號(hào)。

　　潛艇對(duì)俘虜?shù)挂矁?yōu)待；只是，為了保守自己的秘密，潛艇艇長(zhǎng)尼摩從此永遠(yuǎn)不許他們離開(kāi)。阿羅納克斯一行別無(wú)選擇，只能跟著潛水艇周游各大洋。十個(gè)月之后，這三個(gè)人終于在極其險(xiǎn)惡的情況下逃脫，生物學(xué)家才得以把這件海底秘密公諸于世。

　　Story started at 1866, Aronnax was French, he is a natural historian, and he was studying a large monster under the sea. At that time, this large monster’s massager was traveling around the world. And after the investigation, he would return from abroad, and then he received an invitation from sea forces of the America. So he climbed up the chaser of America, to make the large monster die out.

　　By the hardship, the large monster wasn’t being dying, but Aronnax and his servant, a whaler came the captive of the large monster——nobody know it——a submarine called “Nautilus”.

　　They stayed there not bad, but captain Nemo doesn’t let them leave, they need to keep secret. And ten months later, they run away, and tell everyone the truth.
