以女主唱Allison goldfrapp名字命名的Goldfrapp是一個(gè)來(lái)自英國(guó)的二人電子樂(lè)團(tuán)，樂(lè)團(tuán)的另一位成員是作曲家Will Gregory。無(wú)論是演唱時(shí)濃郁的英式口音還是和時(shí)而陰森 時(shí)而空靈的英國(guó)名著如出一轍的曲風(fēng)，goldfrapp都可以說(shuō)是最具英倫文化特色和風(fēng)情的樂(lè)團(tuán)。 現(xiàn)今身為歌手/做曲家/鍵盤(pán)手的Allison Goldfrapp (13 May 1966 Enfield, London)在middlesex大學(xué)主修繪畫(huà)時(shí)就開(kāi)始研究音樂(lè)了。還在學(xué)校的時(shí)候，她就在朋友Tricky的1995年的初次演出中露臉，然后又在這位著名電子樂(lè)手的專(zhuān)輯Orbital\'s Snivilisation 和 Add N以及 X\'s 中露面。到90年代末，她開(kāi)始自己做曲;她的一個(gè)朋友將她的一些作品給了作曲家Will Gregory(17 September 1959 Bristol, England)，后者發(fā)現(xiàn)倆人在曲風(fēng)上有許多共同之處，于是二人便建立了樂(lè)隊(duì)，用ALLISON的姓作為樂(lè)隊(duì)名字。于是在1999年簽約mute之后， Goldfrapp在2000年秋天發(fā)表了它們的第一張專(zhuān)集Felt Mountain。
