Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived：Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left.Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said，“Richness, can you take me with you?”

Richness answered，“No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat.There is no place here for you.”

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel.“Vanity, please help me！”

“I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat，”Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by, so Love asked，“Sadness, let me go with you.”

“Oh……Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself！”

Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice，“Come, Love, I will take you.”

It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going.When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way.Realizing how much was owed the elder, Love asked Knowledge, another elder，“Who helped me?”

“It was Time，”Knowledge answered.

“Time?”asked Love.“But why did Time help me?”

Knowledge smiled and answered，“Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is.”

從前有一座小島，島上居住著各種各樣的情感：快樂(lè)、傷心、智慧和其他所有的情感，包括愛(ài)。有一天，情感們聽(tīng)說(shuō)小島要沉沒(méi)了，除了愛(ài)，其他的情感都乘船離開(kāi)了小島。

只有愛(ài)沒(méi)有離開(kāi)，它要堅(jiān)持到最后一刻。

小島就要沉沒(méi)了，愛(ài)決定求救。

財(cái)富大哥乘一只豪華船從愛(ài)的身旁經(jīng)過(guò)。愛(ài)說(shuō)：“財(cái)富大哥，救救我，帶我走吧?！?/p>

財(cái)富大哥答道：“不好意思，船上放著很多金銀財(cái)寶，沒(méi)有你坐的地方?！?/p>

這時(shí)虛榮大姐乘一只漂亮的船從愛(ài)的身旁經(jīng)過(guò)，愛(ài)決定向虛榮大姐求救：“虛榮大姐，請(qǐng)幫個(gè)忙吧?！?/p>

“我?guī)筒涣四?，?ài)小妹，你渾身濕漉漉的，會(huì)把我的船弄壞的。”虛榮大姐答道。

當(dāng)傷心大哥經(jīng)過(guò)愛(ài)身旁時(shí)，愛(ài)又求救：“傷心大哥，讓我跟你走吧?！?/p>

“哦，愛(ài)小妹，我心情不好，想一個(gè)人靜靜?！?/p>

快樂(lè)大姐從愛(ài)身旁經(jīng)過(guò)，可是她太高興了，壓根兒就沒(méi)聽(tīng)見(jiàn)愛(ài)小妹的求救聲。

突然，從遠(yuǎn)處傳來(lái)一個(gè)聲音：“嗨，愛(ài)小妹，我?guī)阕??！?/p>

這是一位長(zhǎng)者。愛(ài)小妹太激動(dòng)太高興了，她甚至沒(méi)有問(wèn)長(zhǎng)者會(huì)帶她去哪里就上船了。到岸后，長(zhǎng)者什么也沒(méi)說(shuō)就走了。愛(ài)小妹非常感激這位長(zhǎng)者。愛(ài)小妹問(wèn)智慧爺爺：“是誰(shuí)幫助了我？”

“是時(shí)間?！敝腔蹱敔敶鸬?。

“時(shí)間？”愛(ài)小妹疑惑不解，“時(shí)間為什么要幫我呢？”

智慧爺爺笑著說(shuō)：“因?yàn)橹挥袝r(shí)間才能理解愛(ài)是多么重要?！?/p>
