檢查食品保質(zhì)期的有效方法

Food spoilage is mainly the result of a mutual interaction between two factors, the nature of the food itself and the external environment.

食品變質(zhì)主要是食品本身的性質(zhì)和外部環(huán)境這兩個(gè)因素相互作用的結(jié)果。

If you keep the following rules in mind, you can tell a food is fresh or old just by looking at the food .

如果你能記住下面這些規(guī)則,你就能通過(guò)看食物來(lái)判斷食物是新鮮的還是舊的。

1. Leftovers in the refrigerator

冰箱里的剩菜

Many people have a habit of storing leftovers in the refrigerator for the day together and eating them the next day. However, this is not the best way to preserve food because not all foods are resistant to the growth of bacteria and mold when stored in the refrigerator.

很多人都有把剩菜放在冰箱里,第二天一起吃的習(xí)慣。然而,這并不是保存食物的最好方法,因?yàn)椴⒉皇撬械氖澄锒寄艿挚辜?xì)菌和霉菌的生長(zhǎng)。

If the refrigerator does not have enough cold temperature, it will not be able to store food for more than 1 day, or the refrigerator contains too much food, resulting in lower quality.

如果冰箱沒(méi)有足夠的低溫,食物就不能儲(chǔ)存超過(guò)1天,或者冰箱里食物太多,導(dǎo)致質(zhì)量下降。

When you notice that food has an unusual smell, stale vegetables, and raw meat thawed is viscous and has an unusual odor, it is a sign that the food has been rancid and should not be used.

當(dāng)你注意到食物有一種不尋常的氣味,陳腐的蔬菜,和生肉解凍后粘稠并有一種不尋常的氣味,這是一個(gè)信號(hào),表明食物已經(jīng)變質(zhì)了,不應(yīng)該使用。

2. Eggs

Eggs can be stored in the refrigerator for 3 weeks. But if you are wondering whether the home egg is old or new, get a full glass of water or a bowl of water and put the egg in there.

If the egg sinks to the bottom, it is still fine to use but if the egg floats, the eggs are spoiled and out of date.

3. Yogurt

酸奶

When unopened, yogurt can be stored for 1 week in the refrigerator and 5 days if opened, and you should pay attention to the expiry date shown on the packaging.

酸奶未開(kāi)封時(shí)可在冰箱中保存1周,開(kāi)封后可保存5天,請(qǐng)注意包裝上的過(guò)期日期。

If you open the yogurt and notice signs of mold or color changes, immediately throw it in the trash.

4. Red meat

紅肉

The shelf life for red meat is about 1-3 days if it's raw and 7-10 days if it's cooked. For meat purchased in the supermarket, throw it out immediately if the expired meat is printed on the package to avoid food poisoning.

紅肉的保質(zhì)期是1-3天,如果是生的,是7-10天。在超市購(gòu)買(mǎi)的肉類(lèi),如包裝上印有過(guò)期肉類(lèi)字樣,應(yīng)立即扔掉,以免食物中毒。

Red meats show signs of spoilage often have a distinct, pungent odor and a bad smell.

5. Poultry meat

Fresh poultry, light pink in color, and cooked poultry should be white. When the color of the meat turns gray and has a strong odor it is likely that the food is spoiled and cannot be used anymore.

6. Watermelon

On the outside, watermelons may differ depending on the variety, but on the inside, melons should always be pink or magenta.

If the melon is removed and the red part is darker than usual, and the sweetness is not natural, the melon is likely to be booted. The melon has a pale white streak and slightly viscous, then the melon will rot. New, delicious melons will always be fragrant, fresh and very sweet, with hard melon rind and without pitting holes.

7. Fresh milk

新鮮牛奶

For unopened box of milk, you can still use it within 1 week from the expiration date indicated on the carton. This applies only to 1%, 2% and skim milk.

對(duì)于未開(kāi)封的牛奶盒,從保質(zhì)期開(kāi)始算起,一周內(nèi)仍可使用。這只適用于1%,2%和脫脂牛奶。

With fresh milk, depending on the type of milk, you must use it in 24 hours or 2-3 days, store them in the refrigerator at a temperature of about 4.4 degrees Celsius. Don't keep boxes of milk on the refrigerator door because it has an unstable temperature, not suitable for milk storage.
