Autumn weariness 秋乏

There is a saying that, "People tend to feel sleepy in spring, doze in summer and feel tired in autumn." As the weather becomes cool during End of Heat, many people will feel languid and weary, which is called "autumn weariness". It is a sign that the human body needs rest, since people have consumed excessive energy in the summer. Get enough sleep, do more exercises and keep plants indoor to help.

俗話說：春困秋乏夏打盹。進入處暑，隨著天氣漸漸變得涼爽，許多人會感到精神不振，渾身乏力，這就叫“秋乏”。這是身體在發(fā)出信號，因為人們在夏天消耗了太多的能量，所以現(xiàn)在身體需要休息。保證充足的睡眠、增加鍛煉，以及在室內(nèi)放置綠色植物可以緩解“秋乏”。

Eating Duck 吃鴨肉

Duck has a sweet flavor and according to Chinese traditional medicine it has a "cool" nature. A folk tradition is to eat duck during the End of Heat period. There are many recipes for cooking duck such as roast duck, cooked duck with lemon, smoked duck and sautéed duck with ginger shoots.

鴨肉味甘，而且中醫(yī)認為鴨肉屬寒性食物。處暑時節(jié)吃鴨肉是民間的一種傳統(tǒng)。鴨肉的烹飪方法多種多樣，有烤鴨、檸檬鴨、熏鴨、子姜鴨等。

The Fishing Season Festival 捕魚節(jié)

For fishermen, the End of Heat is a season of harvest. During this period, the Fishing Season Festival is held in regions along the coastline of the East China Sea in Zhejiang province. People can enjoy many kinds of seafood during this period.

對漁民來說，處暑就是收獲的時節(jié)。到了處暑節(jié)氣，浙江一些沿海地區(qū)會舉辦捕魚節(jié)。人們在這個時節(jié)可以吃到各種各樣的海鮮。
