According to a recent survey of 1,600 Internet users in the UK, web rage is on the increase, causing short-temperedness and even physical aggression – not necessarily thumping the nearest person, but frustrated bashing of keyboards and over-zealous mouse-clicking!
據(jù)英國(guó)最近一項(xiàng)針對(duì)1600位網(wǎng)民所做的調(diào)查顯示，網(wǎng)怒現(xiàn)象處于上升態(tài)勢(shì)，主要表現(xiàn)為易怒，甚至有攻擊傾向。這里的攻擊傾向倒不一定是針對(duì)身邊的人，多半表現(xiàn)為砸鍵盤(pán)以及猛擊鼠標(biāo)。 The top cause of web rage is the frustration of slow-loading web pages, but among other sources of irritation are images that don't load, websites that require specific software to run, requests for personal details before being allowed into a site, and 'help' buttons which don't really 'help'.
引起網(wǎng)怒的首要原因是網(wǎng)頁(yè)慢速下載時(shí)導(dǎo)致的煩躁情緒，其它原因還有：圖片無(wú)法打開(kāi)，某些網(wǎng)站需要安裝制定軟件才能運(yùn)行，登錄某個(gè)網(wǎng)站前要求提交個(gè)人信息，以及不能提供任何幫助的“幫助”按鈕。
Research reveals that Internet users are not generally prepared to wait for more than a minute for a site to load, and will usually go to an alternative site if they feel they're waiting too long. This means that web rage could have an important influence in business – with so many choices available on the Internet, consumers will quickly dismiss a site and switch to another if the first one they choose fails to perform according to their expectations.
研究顯示，大部分網(wǎng)民等待網(wǎng)站打開(kāi)的時(shí)間不會(huì)多于一分鐘，如果他們等待時(shí)間太長(zhǎng)便會(huì)選擇訪問(wèn)其他站點(diǎn)。這說(shuō)明網(wǎng)怒對(duì)網(wǎng)站的經(jīng)營(yíng)影響重大：網(wǎng)絡(luò)上選擇如此之多，如果最初選擇的網(wǎng)站表現(xiàn)未能達(dá)到客戶的期望，他們很快會(huì)離開(kāi)這個(gè)網(wǎng)站而轉(zhuǎn)用另外一個(gè)。
