A: I am so sorry to hear this.

B: Lindsey has been miserable lately, and I think it's because of this bullying. I was wondering if there was any way you could help me make things better for Lindsey?

A: Of course, I'll talk to Kimberly and see if I can get her to stop this rude behavior, it's completely unacceptable.
