A: Hello?

A:喂?

B: Hi Ivy, this is Peter.

B:嗨，艾薇，我是彼得。

A: Hi Peter, how are you?

A:嗨，彼得，你好嗎?

B: Not so good. I'm calling to tell you that I won't be able to come to your birthday party, I had a car accident yesterday, and unfortunately I broke my arm, I think I'll be laid up for a while.

:不太好。我打電話是想告訴你我不能來參加你的生日聚會(huì)了，我昨天出了車禍，不幸的是我摔斷了胳膊，我想我得臥床休息一段時(shí)間。
