According to Ubisoft's latest blog post, the development team says that all purchasable content in Uncharted Alliance that may affect gameplay will be unlocked through in-game challenges to ensure fair play within the player community. While the game will include season passes, the content in the passes will focus primarily on cosmetic trinkets such as character skins, weapon skins, MVP player animations, player name tags and emoticons.
