Tread lightly, she is near
Under the snow,
Speak gently, she can hear
The daisies grow.
All her bright golden hair
Tarnished with rust,
She that was young and fair
Fallen to dust.
Lily-like, white as snow,
She hardly knew
She was a woman, so
Sweetly she grew.
Coffin-board, heavy stone,
Lie on her breast;
I vex my heart alone,
She is at rest.

[1]奧斯卡·王爾德(Oscar Wilde,1854—1900),詩人,劇作家,童話家,出生于愛爾蘭都柏林的一個醫(yī)生家庭,畢業(yè)于都柏林大學三一學院,后又赴牛津大學學習古希臘哲學。倡導唯美主義,認為“藝術只表現(xiàn)自己,不表現(xiàn)其他東西”。詩歌作品有《詩集》《斯芬克斯》《里丁監(jiān)獄之歌》等,戲劇作品有《認真是重要的》《莎樂美》等,童話作品有《快樂王子》《自私的巨人》等。
