1　boat 作名詞，一般指“小船，小艇”，靠槳或小馬達(dá)航行。

They went to the island by boat . 他們乘小船去那個(gè)島。

There are many boats on the lake. 湖上有許多小船。

It is a fishing boat . 這是一條漁船。

We are all in the same boat . 我們同舟共濟(jì)。

2　boat 也可用作動(dòng)詞，意為“劃船，乘船”。

3　ship 作名詞，表示大型的“船，輪船”，常用she, her指代。
