181　the more, the better怎樣使用

　兩個形容詞或副詞比較級，前面加定冠詞the，各自引導(dǎo)一個句子，中間用逗號隔開，表示“越……就越”；前面的句子相當(dāng)于一個表示條件或時間的從句。

The more you learn, the better it is.（正） 你學(xué)得越多越好 。

The more you learn, it is the better . （誤） （兩個比較級都必須放在句首 ）

The harder you study, the more you will get. 你學(xué)習(xí)越努力，得到的就越多 。

If you study harder,you will get more.

The farther he walked, the more tired he felt. 他越往前走，就感到越累。

The less you eat, the thinner you will get. 吃得越少，就會越瘦。

提示

注意下面的兩個比較級連用，表示“越來越……”。

It is getting colder and colder . 天越來越冷了。

He is becoming stronger and stronger . 他變得越來越強(qiáng)壯了。

The bird is flying higher and higher . 那只鳥飛得越來越高了。
