Buckingham Palace

白金漢宮(Buckingham Palace）英國的王宮。建造在威斯敏斯特城內(nèi)，位于倫敦詹姆士公園（St. James’ Park）的西邊，1703年為白金漢公爵所建而得名，最早稱白金漢屋，意思是“他人的家”。
它是一座四層樓的正方形圍院建筑，宮內(nèi)有典禮廳、音樂廳、宴會廳、畫廊等六百余個房間。在宮前廣場有勝利女神像站在高高的大理石臺上，金光閃閃。正面的大門富麗堂皇，外柵欄的金色裝飾威嚴莊重，厚重鐵門的浮雕營造出與宮殿十分和諧的氛圍。圍墻里面，可以看到那些著名的近衛(wèi)軍士兵紋絲不動地佇立著。周圍占地廣闊的御花園，為典型的英式風格園林。
