When we buy cosmetics from overseas, we’re not entirely sure what these cosmetics are, and what they are used for.

很多時(shí)候，朋友從國(guó)外帶來的化妝品，看不懂，所以不知道怎么用。

所以化妝品怎么說呢？

cosmetics 更傾向于指護(hù)膚品，如乳液、精華液等

make up 指彩妝，眼線筆、眼影之類，是a subset of cosmetics,化妝品的一部分

涂/抹乳液怎樣表達(dá)？

求種草時(shí)要說

②外國(guó)人的poor English 是指small vocabulary，詞匯量貧乏

中國(guó)人的poor English 是謙虛的說法

一般來說，男生take a shower 以后，通常會(huì)直接put on face lotion涂乳液, 而不會(huì)用toner 爽膚水。女生就喜歡精致護(hù)膚啦！

It’s quite heavy, and make your skin very oily. 精華可是有點(diǎn)厚重啊， 而且會(huì)讓你的皮膚變油哦。
