1. How to offer a ride 如何表達(dá)捎對(duì)方一程

沒車的外國(guó)人，其實(shí)，特別希望有人能開車捎著他/她，所以，安全情況下，完全可以直接詢問！

For most foreigners really just asking them directly it's not inappropriate.

對(duì)于大多數(shù)外國(guó)人來說，直接詢問沒有什么不合適的。

* asking them directly 直接詢問

inappropriate /‘?n?’propr??t/ 不合適的

我們可以這樣問：

* Hey, do you need a ride ? 需要捎著你嗎？

* Hey, Can I offer you a ride? 我能捎你回家嗎？

這樣表達(dá)簡(jiǎn)單，明了!！

通常情況下，如果外國(guó)朋友沒有車時(shí)，他們是期待被捎一程噠 .They’re hoping for it ?

2. positions in the car 坐在哪兒

ａ．坐副駕駛吧：

* You can sit by the driver 坐在駕駛旁邊

* You can sit the front passenger / you can sit in the front 坐在乘客的前面

* Shotgun ( n.副駕駛 最地道表達(dá)，比較口語化）

I’m riding shotgun ／I have shotgun／I’ve got shotgun／I’m in shotgun 我坐在副駕駛

b. 坐后排吧：

* You can sit in the back 你可以坐在后面

* I will sit in the back 我坐在后面

* I get the window / you can sit by the window 我坐在靠窗的位置

如果車內(nèi)人比較多，你可以說 I’ll sit in the middle 我坐在中間

3. giving directions 在路上如何指方向

我們需知道：

cardinal directions 基本方向

north south east and west 上北下南左西右東

If I don't know the direction I'm going in the right and left are meaningless.如果搞不懂基本方向，向左、向右就顯得毫無意義。

日常生活實(shí)用表達(dá)：

基本款：

* go toward north =head north 往北

* go towards south= head south 往南

* Turn left 左轉(zhuǎn)

* Turn right 右轉(zhuǎn)

升級(jí)款：

下一個(gè)路口左轉(zhuǎn)：

* take the second turn on the left

* turn left on the second street / turn left at the second street

* Turn left at the next intersection (有紅綠燈的十字路口）

下下個(gè)路口左（右）轉(zhuǎn)：

* Take the third turn on the left （左轉(zhuǎn)）

* Take the third turn on the right （右轉(zhuǎn)）

直行：

* Go along

* Go straight

掉頭：

make / take a U-turn

靠邊停車：

* park on the side

* Go into the parking lot

parking lot 停車區(qū)

在這停一下：

* Can you wait here?

* Can you stop here?

小心,不要闖紅燈

* Be careful , don’t passed through the red light!

* Do not run the red light!

4. Small talk 聊點(diǎn)啥

美國(guó)人都喜歡這么問，但只是問問而已，并不真的care 你的answer. So don’t talk too much 不要掏心掏肺地說太多哦

聊天也要看關(guān)系：

Didi (打車）: don’t talk 不用聊

One time friend（泛泛之交） : weather, sports ,hobbies

close: deep topic 深一點(diǎn)的話題

建議：

與外國(guó)人交流時(shí)，Don’t make assumption, it’s better to ask 不要主觀臆斷，要多問問題.這種方式 easily to build a relationship 更容易建立關(guān)系。
