LESSON 23 MORNING AND NIGHT

第二十三課 早晨和夜晚

See how bright it is! The sun is up. The birds are up. Hark! Do you hear them sing?

看，天多亮?。√?yáng)升起來(lái)了。鳥兒也醒來(lái)了。聽！你聽見它們?cè)诔鑶幔?/p>

The bees are at work. They have been up a long time.

蜜蜂在工作。他們?cè)缇托褋?lái)了。

Make haste, that we may go and watch them near the hive.

抓緊時(shí)間，我們好就近蜂房那里去觀察它們。

It is good for you and for me to rise with the sun, and the birds, and the bees.

當(dāng)太陽(yáng)升起的時(shí)候起床對(duì)你我，對(duì)鳥，還有蜜蜂都有益處。

Now, kneel down, and thank God that He has kept you all through the night.

現(xiàn)在，跪下來(lái)，感謝神，因他保佑你度過(guò)了夜晚。

Ask Him to bless you, and keep you safe all day long.

求他祝福你，并在一天之中保佑你。

See, now, the sun is down. Look how red the sky is in the west. It will soon be dark.

瞧，現(xiàn)在，太陽(yáng)落下去了?？次鬟叺奶炜斩嗝醇t。天很快就要黑了。

The birds are at rest in the trees. See how each one hides its head in its wing.

鳥兒在樹上休息了。你看它們把頭藏在了翅膀底下。

It is time, too, for you to say, “Good night” and to go to bed. But do not go to rest till you have knelt down to pray to God, and to thank Him for all His love and care.

也是時(shí)候輪到你說(shuō)“晚安”了，去睡覺吧。但請(qǐng)先你跪下來(lái)感謝上帝對(duì)你的愛和關(guān)照，然后才休息吧。

Ask Him to watch you in the night. He sees you, and will keep you safe from harm.

求他在夜晚保護(hù)你。他看著你，也會(huì)保佑你安全，不受傷害。

I will not fear, for God is near,

“我不會(huì)感到害怕，因?yàn)樯系墼谏砼裕?/p>

Through the dark night, as in the light;

整個(gè)夜晚，猶如白晝；

And while I sleep, safe watch will keep.

當(dāng)我睡著，他會(huì)保護(hù)我的安全。

Why should I fear, when God is near?

當(dāng)有神在旁邊，我有什么可恐懼的呢？“
