Tom was happy to get one dollar from his father.湯姆很開心爸爸給了他一美金。He wanted to buy a toy with it.他想用它去買個(gè)玩具。So he put on his hat and ran into the street.于是他戴上帽子，跑到了街上去。There he met some boys throwing snowballs.他在街上看到有幾個(gè)男孩在扔雪球。Soon Tom joined them.湯姆很快地就加入了他們。He sent a snowball at James, but he missed him, and broke a window on the other side of the street.他向詹姆斯扔了一個(gè)雪球，但雪球沒砸中對(duì)方，卻打破了街對(duì)面一戶人家的窗。Tom was afraid and ran as fast as he could.湯姆很害怕，飛快地逃走了。But soon he stopped.但沒過多久他就停了下來。He said to himself, "I was wrong to break the window.
